Beis Shammai were the students of the academy founded by Shammai the Elder. They often argued with Beis Hillel, the students of Hillel the Elder.

Kever Beis Shammai

A number of the Sages of Beis Shammai are buried in a Cave on the mountain across from Meron. The cave is located halfway up the mountain. On top of the mountain is the Kever of Shammai the Elder.
