* There are sins that place apostasy in a person and cause damage to his faith.<ref name="Sichos HaRan 32">Sichos HaRan 32</ref> 
** There are also those that have thoughts doubting their faith since they were not born and conceived in proper holiness.<ref name="Sichos HaRan 32"/>
** A person that was conceived in holiness and did not sin is not bombarded with thoughts of atheism. Even if they overhear conversations of apostasy it does not interest them at all or confuse them.<ref name="Sichos HaRan 32"/>
** Someone that has doubts of atheism should be very embarrassed and have a broken heart, that he was conceived from such physicality or did such bad sins, that caused him to have have doubts against our holy faith and the Glory of Hashem.
** By feeling this embarrassment and having a broken heart, one breaks and expels the doubts and thoughts of atheism from himself.<ref name="Sichos HaRan 32"/>

==Atheists Feel Helpless==
* A person with faith can comfort and strengthen himself even as he suffers; that it's for the best, it's serving as an atonement, Hashem will have mercy on him and in the end things will improve either in This World or the Next World.<ref name="Sichos HaRan 32"/>
** When atheists suffer, they have nowhere to turn and nothing to strengthen and comfort themselves with.<ref name="Sichos HaRan 32"/>


 ובאמת הקושיות והחקירות של ההמון עם הם שטותים גדולים ואינם קושיות כלל. ויש בני אדם שהולכים עם איזה קושיא זמן רב ובאמת הקושיא שלו הוא תירוץ, רק מחמת שאין לו דעת נדמה לו לקושיא. כמו למשל ששואלין את התינוק שנשבר הזכוכית של החלון ולקחו הזכוכית השני שאצלו וקבעוה כאן, ואם כן יפרח הצפור דרך החלל הזה של זכוכית השני. וכששואלין את התינוק כך, דהיינו שכוללין לו התירוץ עם הקושיא ביחד, אזי נדמה לו לקושיא גדולה ואינו יודע מה להשיב כלל כי נדמה לו לקושיא גדולה. ובאמת הכל שטות, כי אדרבא הקושיא שיפרח הצפור הוא תירוץ על קושיא הראשונה של שטות. כי באמת אין לוקחין בשביל זה הזכוכית השני לסתום כי יפרח דרך שם. רק התינוק מחמת חסרון הבנתו אינו מבין שכוללין לו הקושיא עם התירוץ ביחד ונדמה לו לקושיא גדולה. כמו כן ממש בני אדם שנכנס בלבם קושיות של שטות כאלו שבאמת זאת הקושיא הוא תירוץ, אך מחמת חסרון הבנתו נדמה לו שהוא קושיא גדולה והבן היטב. על כן צריך האדם לסלק מדעתו ולברוח מקושיות וחקירות ושטותים ובלבולים, רק לחזק את עצמו באמונה לבד כנזכר לעיל:
