Booths selling spiritual products, items and paraphernalia at the Tomb of Rabbi Meir Baal Haness. In back of the Kever there is an entire courtyard filled with booths that try to monetize the pilgrimage of the many visitors to the Tomb. These booths sell a variety of debatable spiritual products such as Kabbalah red strings, chamsas and various segulot. It is assumed by many people that all these stands are controlled by one family that has a firm hold over the Sephardic section of Kever Rabbi Meir Baal Haness. As usual, there are many people angered at the idea of the Holy place being exploited as a money making opportunity.
