Tomb of Rabbi Meir Baal Haness located in Southern Tiberias on the outskirts of the city. Rabbi Meir Baal Haness was one of the leading Rabbis during the time of the Mishna. After passing away in Asia, Rabbi Meir Baal Haness was reburied by his students in Israel, right above the renown hot springs of Tiberias. Currently the tomb consists of separate Ashkanazi and Sephardic sections, both were built around 1870. In the foreground is the Sephardi 'Ktones Ohr' building that initially hosted the Meir Bas Ayin yeshiva. In the background is the Ashkanazi Bais Medrash that used to house the Ohr Torah Kollel.
