Description:
Western Wall of Temple Mount, a Holy Jewish location

The Kotel Maaravi is the remaining Western Wall of the Har Habayis. It is located at the edge of the Jewish Quarter of Old City Jerusalem. In this location the Shichina resides during the time of exile. Each day this holy location is visited by 10,000's of visitors many who pray for salvation.

Although Dovid HaMelech was not permitted to build the Beis Hamikdash himself, he did take an active part in the preparation of the Western Wall of Har Habayis. Therefore in his merit no nation or enemy succeeded in destroying it throughout the ages.
