'''Rebbe Abba''' was one of the main students of [[Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai]] and was apointed by him to transcribe the teachings of the Zohar. He participated in both the [[Idra Rabba]] and [[Idra Zuta]].

==Kever Rabbi Aba From the Zohar==
Rabbi Aba is buried in a cave right above Nachal Amud where [[Wadi Amud Safed|Wadi Amud]] meets Wadi Sechvi. Right above him is Kever [[Rabbi Yitzchak from the Zohar]] and across the wadi is Kever [[Rabbi Nechunya ben HaKane]]. Although Rabbi Chaim Vital describes the location of the Kever based on the words of the [[Rabbi-Yitzchak-Luria|Arizal]], its location was lost over the years. Yisroel Meir Gabbai and Ohalei Tzadikim say they have identified the correct location of the Kever based on their research.
