Rabbi Dovid Shlomo Eibeschitz was the Av Bais Din of Sarka. In 1809 he moved to Israel, settling in Tzfas. He authored the 'Arvey Nachal', a commentary on the Torah and the 'Levushay Srad' on the Shulchan Aruch. Rabbi Dovid Shlomo Eibeschitz passed away in 1814 on the 22nd of Cheshvon and was buried in the Tzfat cemetery.

Rabbi Dovid Shlomo Eibeschitz is buried in a cave in the old Tzfat cemetery along side Rabbi Avroham Dov of Avoritch. Also buried in this cave are Rabbi Aryeh Yehudah Leib of Volochisk and his son and daughter in law who was the daughter of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov.
