Rabbi Shimon of Kremenchuk was the first student of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov and later served as his Shamesh and personal assistant. Rabbi Nachman promised him that he would be able to continue this position after his death. Rabbi Shimon Breslover is buried in the ancient cemetery of Tzfat right under the Kevarim of the Ari and the Ramak.
