Rabbi Yossi ben Zimra
Rabbi Yossi ben Zimra was a sixth generation Tana. His daughter married the son of Rabbi Yehuda the Nasi. He is buried in the village of Kerem Ben Zimra in Northern Israel, who's residents take great pride of this and revolve some of their devotions around it.

Communal Tzadik
Members of the Kerem Ben Zimra community try to study the teachings of Rebbe Yossi ben Zimra each week that apply to that specific parsha.
Hillulah of Rabbi Yossi ben Zimra
On the night of the Hillulah every house in the villige of Kerem Ben Zimra is requested to light a candle in merit of the Tzadik. Many member of the community then go to the Tziyun of Rebbe Yossi ben Zimra to partake in the reading of the Hillulah book and the Mincha / Mariv prayers. Each male adult is allotted ten pages to recite, circulating through the Hillulah book many times.
