Shabbos Warning

Moshe assembled the Jews on the day after Yom Kippor, following his descent from Har Sinai,[1] attaining forgiveness for the sin of the golden calf and instructs them not to desecrate the Shabbos for the construction of the Mishkan.[2] On the six week days work can be done but the seventh day should be sanctified. It is to be a day of complete rest, whoever performs work on this day will be put to death. He specifically points out the transgression of igniting fires on Shabbos.
