Some claim that he is buried in the cave of the 'Elders of Tzfat' along with  [[Rabbi Yakov Beirav]] and [[Rabbi Moshe Alshich|Rabbi Moshe Alsheich]].

Rabbi Avraham Galanti was a Kabbalist living in Safed in the second half of the 16th century. He was born to a family that had fled Spain in 1492, and had then settled in Rome. As a young man he moved to Israel and studied there with Rabbi Moshe Cordovero.
