Rabbi Eliezer son of Rabbi Yossi Haglili was a forth generation Tana living during the 2nd century and was counted amongst the Sages of Usha. His main teacher was Rabbi Akiva and he was active in the generation after the Bar Cochva rebellion. Rabbi Eliezer ben Rabbi Yossi Haglili is mentioned only once in the Mishna although he is mentioned in numerous Brisos throughout the Talmud and Midrashim.
