Rabbi Amram Chasida

Rabbi Amram Chasida originally a Rav in Hungary who moved to Eretz Yisroel and settled in Safed. Three years after his arrival he passed away (1830) and was buried in the ancient cemetery of Tzfat.
Life
Rabbi Amram Chasida was born in 1790 and was appointed as the chief rabbi of Urisha at age 24. Six years later he was appointed as rabbi of Moud. He was known for his piety and righteousness, earning him the title 'Chasida'. He was friends with the Chsam Sofer who greatly mourned his passing.
